PPP Direct launch

Well, I’ve wrote already before, that I’ve started to look for other ways to earn money.

One of the ways I’ve found to be very nice and not that hard is Pay Per Post. It is site, which gives you ability to earn some money by blogging. After your blog passes some minimal amount of visitors, and you get certain Google PageRank and Alexa rank, your blog gets “verified” and affiliates of pay per post allow you to post “promotion” articles on your blog! After these posts get verified, you just receive the money!

Well, I’ve already posted some articles on sponsored subjects. It gave me already 7.5$ earned. Now, after some new of my posts are approved, I’m expecting to recieve ~30$ more.

It can be seen as not as big money, but doing that from home, and spending about an hour in total on this, I think it worth it.

So, now PPP launched a new service – PPP Direct! It means that anyone browsing my blog can order a review or sponsor a post directly from me! That’s really cool! What’s more, compared to its competitors, PPP only takes 10% of the money, and all the rest goes to me! (that’s compared to, say, ReviewMe which takes about 50%).

So, I heartily recommend pay per post for earning some money by blogging on your own blog!

Optics for sale

Note: this post is sponsored by PayPerPost

Recently, I was talking to my friend who’s a photo-equipment junkie. He has a Nikon D50 and he’s so into it. He makes great photos though.

When choosing photo equipment, we all have our favorite sites and places. I’ve recently encountered Optics Planet.

Optics Planet is an online shop for optics of any kind. It means that you can get there telescopes, microscopes, rifle scopes, binoculars, nigh vision products and many, many more by ATN, Yukon, Bushnell, Trijicon, Weaver, Aimshot, Insight Technology, ITT. Its a one-store for everything resource. You can get night vision or any other night vision optics devices and products.

But while this store offers much of the products, I do have one problem with it (albeit not a bad problem). Usability on the site is somewhat problematic – a lot of text information hits you right to your face and it makes navigation cumbersome. So, for me it may not be much of a problem as I’m relatively experienced computer-literate person, but for newbies and newcomers to the site it can pose some difficulties.

Still, this site provides much useful information, so it definitely will be saved in my bookmarks!

PayPerPost raises money – what’s in this to me?

Note: This post is sponsored by PayPerPost!

I just got another opportunity to earn some cash.

PayPerPost is just got another raise of $7M. I’m sure it will bring them enough resources to keep up their business, finding more opportunities and creating more of those for me.

Here’s their press release note:

The PayPerPost Revolution Accelerates, Sponsored
Blogging Marketplace Secures $7 Million Series B

Draper Fisher Jurvetson leads round and joins Board of Directors

ORLANDO, FL – (June 12, 2007) – PayPerPost, the leading marketplace for advertisers to reach bloggers and other consumer content creators, today announced it has completed a $7 million second round investment led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson, an investor in the company’s Series A and one of the world’s leading high-technology venture capital firms. The financing brings the total amount of capital raised by PayPerPost to over $10 million, giving the company considerable resources for further development as the industry’s leading Consumer Generated Advertising marketplace. Additional participants in the round include existing investors Inflexion Partners and Village Ventures as well as new investor DFJ Gotham. With this investment, DFJ Managing Director Josh Stein also joins PayPerPost’s Board of Directors.

“PayPerPost created this exciting new advertising space and has established itself as the industry leader,” said Ted Murphy, chief executive officer of PayPerPost. “Although we’ve only used a portion of our first round capital, this added support from investors unlocks significant growth potential. Our content creator and advertiser ROI metrics clearly demonstrate the upside for PayPerPost’s model. We intend to use this capital to build the infrastructure, visibility and professional expertise necessary to reach and retain a greater network of advertisers and content creators than ever before.”

Since its founding in June of 2006, PayPerPost has signed more than 6,500 advertisers to its groundbreaking service, which has enabled Consumer Content Creators to be compensated for their efforts discussing specific companies, products or services via blogs, videos or other media. The content creators are required to disclose relationships with advertisers on their blog, providing transparency for the end reader. Over 125,000 Internet postings, most in the form of blogs, have already earned money for their creators through PayPerPost’s innovative marketplace. PayPerPost recently released PayPerPost Direct, a disruptive new service that allows advertisers to contract and negotiate directly with individual bloggers they identify through a safe, managed system.

“PayPerPost has laid a strong foundation for the future,” noted Tim Draper, founder and managing director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson. “It continues to attract a critical mass of participants from both the advertising and blogging communities. Analogous to Overture’s sponsored search model, we believe PayPerPost’s business model holds disruptive potential and will enable the company to thrive in the evolving paid-content arena.”

To mark the $7 million dollar funding, PayPerPost has launched a new website detailing the company’s service offering at http://www.payperpost.com. Bloggers and advertisers can easily sign up at the site and begin leveraging the self service marketplace.

PayPerPost was founded by ted murphy. It allows bloggers to review some products/services which appear on the site and get rewarded once their review is accepted. On the other hand, with blog readers PayPerPost get blog outreach they want to get more attention.

I just started with it, and I can already tell you that I’ve made $7.50 by putting some time and writing a review! Which is great, related to how much time I spent on it, and that I’ve never payed for membership or anything.

So I recommend everyone to use payperpost, if not for money, then just for your own training.

Now, what could PayPerPost do with all those millions they got now? I think the following:

  • Keep the service alive as much as possible. For me that would mean reachable everytime I get to their site http://www.payperpost.com
  • Gain more advertisers, so beginner bloggers have more chances to earn money.
  • Gain more advertisers, so more categories will be available for review.
  • Remove possible duplicates in opportunities list.
  • Create other channels of revenew so both PayPerPost and bloggers would gain more profit from them.

Feedback is greatly appreciated.

-A.
